10 great reasons why go to the CITA-2004 in Buenos Aires:

1. This event is organized by Fabián Salas, thus the most important parts of it - the instruction and organization, have proven to be the absolute best of its type every year since 1999.

2. The price of the C.I.T.A. has no comparison to any of the Tango tours that go to Argentina. This event is a lot less expensive, if you think about how many hours of highest quality instruction you get for your money, plus the milongas and the incomparable shows

3. This is NOT a tour. Therefore you are welcome to arrange your own itinerary, your own accommodations, and your own schedule, including the choice of 28 classes each day from the best professional teachers of Buenos Aires.

4. It's in BUENOS AIRES - THE TANGO CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!

5. It's our 6th year in the row - and the event gets better every year.

6. It brings together the most complete Tango instruction in the world. It is for all levels (from beginner to professional) and all styles (from traditional to nuevo tango).

7. If you've never been to Buenos Aires, this is a great opportunity to go there and get a real taste of Argentine Tango. By being in a friendly environment, with over 300 people from 20 countries doing the same as you, you will improve your dancing immensely and avoid the risks of bad "tango tourist" experiences whatsoever.

8. You'll see the best Tango dancers in the world, both professional and social.

9. You'll make friends with local milongueros and tangueras, and with tango lovers from all over the world who come to the largest and most prestigious annual Tango event.

10. If you are planning to do some tours on the side, visiting Argentina, as well as Brazil and other countries in South America, this is a great chance to do so, and learn some Tango as well. Argentina is a beautiful country, and it offers many interesting choices to match your expectations.

"The tango is evidently, once again, a living art form, with Buenos Aires the epicenter of a cultural phenomenon. The tango remains essentially a popular musical form, rooted in the visceral sense of its dance; combining melodic, lyrical beauty with its unmistakable rhythmic drive. Heady and passionate, sensual and meditative, melancholic and joyful, it is identifiably Argentinean and yet, clearly, is universally accessible. The tango is as complex as its own roots and as simple as the primal impulse for two human beings to move as one." - SALLY POTTER - the creator of "THE TANGO LESSON", a joint British-French-Argentine production, which was awarded the best film of the year award at the 1997 Mar Del Plata (Argentina) International Film Festival.
